These are all of the possible font commands available to you. You can modify them using the ‘Font Commands’ command from the Options menu.
Causes the keystroke to select what is immediately to the left of the caret before doing what you program it to do. No effect if not a caret selection.

Type the keystroke whose behavior you want to program.
Sets most “normal” keystrokes to generate what they usually do in word processors, eliminating special programming for them.
Prints a page that lists all keystrokes you have programmed into Expressionist, with their equivalents.

Makes the button activate a popup menu with even more functions on it.
Makes the button do some other command.
Makes the button change the font, size, and style of the characters.
Makes the button insert some character, composite or macro (you have to choose which one, of course).
